Our accounts receivable department was in serious trouble due to staff turnover and system problems. We contracted with AnCor Healthcare Consulting to help us reduce our accounts receivable days outstanding and improve our cash collections. AnCor developed an action plan that included micro-management of our billing and collection functions, staff training and addressed business software issues. They also assisted us with the interviewing and training of new employees.

AnCor's work ethic is impeccable. They stuck to their plan and produced very successful outcomes for us. The fiscal year that AnCor assisted us, our cash receipts increased 58% and our DSO went down from 142 to 74. They accomplished this by improved workflow, enhanced utilization of the business software and employee training on Medicare coverage criteria and documentation and claims submission requirements for Medicare as well as our other third party payers. When AnCor's engagement was complete, the staff was trained and the processes were in place.

We now budget for AnCor to evaluate our customer service and billing process on an annual basis. The increased cash flow over just a few months more than paid for their services.
